Maria della Pace, St. Peter’s of Rome, Tempietto, and more. Rome “The Eternal City” has a 2700 year history, and has the remains of the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, art in museums and Church’s, the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s, lots of squares for people watching, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and many other fountains, great food, the Appian Way, the catacombs, I could go on an on. I have been there twice the second time spending five days there and would go back as there are still many things a haven’t seen or done there. Florence, on the other hand can be “done” in two days. From a historical and artistic perspective, I can think of few cities in the world that compare to Rome.
